Breaking Up With Jeff

I hate to say this, but

I was only on Jeff’s mail list b/c a former girlfriend of mine was very into him,

And I wanted to know when he was coming to town so I could take her to the show.

But now she is married to the guy she met when she was with me.

And they have a kid. And they are moving to Rhode Island.

Now, I am married, too.

So there are no hard feelings.

But…

not only am I still not a Jeff Black fan,

but his music, which she would play all the time,

is a bit of a bad memory for me…

I know you didn’t need my life story, here,

But I wanted you to know I have nothing against Jeff personally!

I just wanted you to understand my reason.

But I don’t wish to be on the list anymore.

I was sure I had taken myself off a while ago; I guess not.

So please take care of it for me.
